Sauti za Mlimani Exhibition

Dear readers!

It’s a pleasure to share with you details of our upcoming exhibition opening, and we humbly request your presence as the guest and your team/friends. The exhibition opening is scheduled for 24th November 2023, from 06:00 pm to 09:00 pm at Old Boma, Darch Offices (opposite Azam Marine).

The exhibition is titled Sauti Za Milimani and is part of a final showcase of the MAZI’s artists in residency program in Uluguru mountains that was funded and supported by the Swiss Embassy, in collaboration with Nafasi Art Space and KPMG.

During the exhibition, the artists in residency, Tura Gyindo, and David Masanja, will showcase their works on the theme and interact with the audience. Sauti za Milimani is a Swahili word that translates to voices of the mountains. The exhibition aims to educate our society about how nature inspires creativity and kindness in our communities using art as a medium.

The exhibition is set to be shown for a month after the opening. The exhibition is open to anyone interested in learning, networking and sharing the love of art.

It’s in our hopes that you will find time in your busy schedule. Your presence will surely make the event even more special.

Asante,

Pius Matunge – Curator and Art manager
